10/18/2019 - DeSales 26, St. Charles 14

Junior running back Quintell Quinn rushed for a career-high 246 yards and two touchdowns as the Stallions won their sixth straight to improve to 7-1, 2-0 in Central Catholic League play. Quinn became the 27th Stallion to reach the 1,000 yard plateau. DeSales improved to 44-4 all-time against St. Charles, despite turning the ball over four times. The Stallions built a 14-0 first quarter lead after Owen Faulkner’s 19-yard rushing touchdown, but the Cardinals tied the game at 14-14 in the fourth. Quinn took over late in the second half, rushing for 200 yards, including a 69-yard touchdown. Reno Godfrey’s nine-yard touchdown run with 2:21 remaining put the game out of reach.

9/28/2018 - DeSales 35, St. Charles 7

The Stallions outscored St. Charles 28-0 in the second half en route to a 35-7 victory and improved to 4-2 overall and opened up CCL play at 1-0. Sophomore running back Quintell Quinn led DeSales with a career-high 139 yards (on 10 carries) and Joey Velazquez added 120 yards (on 13 carries) as the Stallions out-gained the Cardinals 366-116. Velazquez and Quinn each had two scores. DeSales junior Owen Faulkner caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Velazquez and recovered a kickoff. The Stallions overcame six turnovers for their fifth straight win over the Cardinals and 41st overall, in 42 games.

9/29/2017 - DeSales 31, St. Charles 0

The Stallion Defense was dominant in a 31-0 win over St. Charles.  DeSales out-gained the Cardinals 397-70 as the Purple and White posted their second shutout of the season and the 18th all-time against St. Charles.  

Brian Asamoah (113 rushing) and Joey Velazquez (125 all-purpose) combined for 238 yards of offense and three touchdowns in the 42nd win against the Cardinals (in 46 games).  Quarterback Cole Silvestri threw for a touchdown and rushed for another score as the Stallions improved to 4-2 overall, 1-0 in Central Catholic League play. 

DeSales held St. Charles (0-6, 0-1) to three 1st downs and 0 yards passing for the second straight year.

10/21/2016 - DeSales 38, St. Charles 7

The Stallions scored 21 points in the first quarter, as part of a 38 point first half, en route to a 38-7 win over St. Charles to clinch the 2016 Central Catholic League Silver Division Championship.  Alonzo Booth had 168 total yards (102 rushing, 66 receiving), scored three touchdowns and moved into second place all-time with 1,623 yards for most rushing yards in a single season.  Cole Silvestri connected with Booth (66) and Joe Arnold (50) for passing touchdowns as the Purple and White totaled 271 first half yards.  The Stallion defense held the Cardinals to 31 yards of offense in the first half and Joey Velazquez had an interception return for a touchdown. It was the third straight CCL Silver Division Championship for Head Coach Ryan Wiggins and 7th overall (in 10 seasons) for the 1997 SFD alumnus.

10/23/2015 - DeSales 28, St. Charles 6

DeSales won its sixth CCL title in nine seasons under Head Coach Ryan Wiggins after the 28-6 victory.  It was the fifth game in a row that the Stallion defense held an opponent to seven points or less.  Austin Andrews had two touchdown runs to lead the Stallions on offense.  Ryan Corkrean had a 51-yard touchdown reception and also led the way with nine tackles on defense.

10/3/2014  -  DeSales 40, St. Charles 0

Senior quarterback Josh DeLozier ran for 77 yards and two scores and threw for 70 yards and another touchdown to lead the Stallions to the win.  Jake Gilmore led the team with 141 yards as the Purple and White out-gained the Cardinals 419-102.  After Adam Acquista’s 14-yard score in the 4th quarter, the game was sent to a running-clock.  The Stallion reserve unit held St. Charles out of the end zone in the final moments of the 4th quarter to preserve the shutout, the 17th for the Purple and White against the Cardinals.

9/28/2012  -  DeSales 28, St. Charles 16

St. Charles turned the ball over six times, and another on downs, to end the first half, and the Stallions continued their winning streak over the Cardinals.  With DeSales up 14-10, late in the 2nd quarter, St. Charles opted to go for it, on 4th and goal.  DeSales denied Sean Fitzmartin the end-zone on the final play of the first half.  DeSales would add two Alex Perrine touchdown passes in the second half to build their lead to 28-10.  JT Blubaugh led the way, rushing for 111 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns.

9/30/2011  -  DeSales 27, St. Charles 10

Warren Ball ran for 132 yards and a touchdown in the second half to lead the Stallions to their 35th consecutive win over St. Charles.  Ball finished the game with 171 yards and two scores as DeSales improved to 3-3 overall, 1-0 in CCL play.  St. Charles added a late touchdown in the 4th quarter on the reserves and it was the first time since 2007 that the Cardinals scored on the Stallions in the 2nd half.  The Purple and White held a 301-200 total yards advantage.

10/1/2010  -  DeSales 20, St. Charles 6

The Cardinals struck first with a 21-yard field goal, but DeSales took the lead for good after a 3-yard touchdown run by quarterback Nick Gentile.  The Stallions took a 7-6 lead into the break.  On two separate occasions in the first half, the Stallions held the Cardinals to field goals after taking their drives inside the DeSales 15-yard line.  The Purple and White would add to their lead thanks to two Anthony Ciammaicella field goals.  DeSales out-scored St. Charles 13-0 in the second half, including a 1-yard Warren Ball touchdown run.  Gentile led the game with 129 yards rushing as the Stallions won their seventh CCL game in a row.
