1986 Central Catholic League Champions

Record:  10 - 0
Head Coach:  Phil Mauro

For the second season in a row and first time in school history, the Stallions finished the regular season undefeated.  Unfortunately, DeSales moved up to Division-II before the '86 season and did not have enough computer points to qualify for the postseason despite ending the year as the state's 3rd ranked team.  The Stallion defense held opponents in 1986 to under 6 points per contest.

1985 Division-III State Champions

Record:  14 - 0
Head Coach:  Tony Pusateri

Making the program's first OHSAA playoff appearance, DeSales became Ohio's first-ever 14-0 team after their 21-13 win over Orrville in the 1985 Division-III State Championship.

1978 Central Catholic League Champions

Record:  10 - 0
Head Coach:  Tony Pusateri

In his second season as Head Coach of his alma mater, Tony Pusateri led the Stallions to their first undefeated and untied season in school history.  Roy Burrell's field goal with 1:39 remaining broke a 7-7 tie against Bishop Watterson in week 9 and it lifted the Stallions to their first win over the Eagles since the 1968 season.

1964 Central Catholic League Champions

In just their third season overall and second competing in the Central Catholic League, the Stallions captured the program's first league title after an 8-8 tie against Bishop Watterson in the final game of the year.  The Stallion Defense in '64 allowed just 42 points (5.3 per game) and posted three shutouts.
