DeSales scored the final 14 points of the game after trailing by ten in the third quarter and rallied to beat Watterson 20-16. The Stallions out-rushed the Eagles 267-52 and were led by Quintell Quinn’s career-high 161 yards. Jaylen Ball scored the go-ahead touchdown and finished with 76 yards rushing. Ball also recorded a career-high 9 tackles on a defense that intercepted three Watterson passes and all of them occurred in the second half.
Jordan Johnson caught an 18-yard pass from Reno Godfrey for a score and also had an interception.
Ryan Wiggins improved to 12-4 all-time against Watterson.
