With the game scoreless through three quarters, Tim O'Brien (1 yard) and Greg Williams (31 yards) each had fourth quarter rushing touchdowns to help the Stallions improve to 2-0 to begin the '81 season. It was the sixth shutout in nine games for Coach Tony Pustaeri and Coach Guido Ricevuto's defense. The Purple and White held the Cougars 75 yards rushing on 33 attempts, while Williams led DeSales with 136 yards on the ground.
