What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
Beating Watterson our senior year and winning the CCL in football.
What was your best game?
I played on the offensive line, so the entire "O" line played really well against a great Watterson defense in '68.
What made playing for DeSales special?
We had some really good players that played in the years before us that we looked up to. We tried to make them proud and we didn't want to let them down. Whenever we took the field, or the the wrestling mat, we were playing for each other and the ones that started the traditions of winning, toughness, and always feeling that we could win against whoever we played!
Describe what it was like playing for your Coach Sharrock?
Mr. Sharrock was my head football coach and Mr. Triano was my head wrestling coach. They LOVED DeSales, they cared about us as student-athletes, they treated us all the same, and they expected us to win!
Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
I am still in the athletics world, so I follow all of there sports during every season.
