What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
This is a tough one, but if I had to choose just one; I would go with the Clinton-Massie win my senior year. Nothing better than beating a team that hadn’t lost in two years on tv while alumni stadium was going nuts.
What made playing for DeSales so special?
100% the culture and coaches. The culture At DeSales is special and I don’t think you realize it until you leave. It’s hard to put into words but as a player you knew the moment you stepped on that field or put on that jersey you were becoming part of something much bigger, it just brought this unexplainable pride to everything you were doing. I loved my time at BG but it never felt the same as those four years in purple and white. In regards to the coaches, I owe them everything. In my four years there were numerous ups-and-downs in my playing career. Without their help, I’m positive I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am now. At the end of the day, DeSales is a special place with one of a kind people that made my four years some of the most memorable.
What was your best game?
Probably against Cincinnati Lasalle my senior year, 3+ sacks and 10ish TFLs
Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
Yes, always checking the scores and went to a few games every year before moving
