What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
Surprisingly it’s not the games. It's those rough times like two a days in the hot summer months bloodied and exhausted. Running miles in full pads, and the legitimate hundreds of "hit-its" in a day with my brothers right next to me struggling to do the next one. Looking back at it, this more than prepared me mentally and physically for an irregular career I've experienced in the Air Force. I've never gone through anything harder than the things I experienced at DeSales. The coaching staff made men out of boys and I will always be grateful of the relationship built throughout my DeSales experience.

What made playing for DeSales so special?
Blue Collar mentality. I'll put it this way, there were five DeSales athletes on the Air Force football team when I was playing. Once the head coach threatened the team that he would start making our practices like they did at DeSales if we didn't get our act together in preparation for an upcoming game.

What was your best game?
State Championship Game.

What was it like playing for Coach Jacoby?
Blue Collar. Our practice were long and grueling, with probably too much contact, but this instilled a mentality and culture that no one was going to beat us up as much as our coach (Coach Jacoby) did. We were always ready.

Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
Yes. I'm bound to DeSales football through family ties. Coach Sheumaker will always be a brother to me and my father speaks with Coach Wiggins from time to time.
