Where are living now?
Babcock Ranch, Florida

What are you doing now?
I work as a teacher and coach at Babcock Ranch Highschool in my neighborhood. This current school year I work as the Head Varsity Cross Country and Track & Field coach, Head Middle School Basketball Coach, and Director of Babcock youth football grades 3-6. For 2024, I have been hired as the Head Varsity Football Coach (first year of the program).

Married? Kids?
Married to Jaime ( Houck) class of ‘97. Children: Kerrigan 17, Jameson 15, and Finnegan 14

What is the fondest memory from your playing career at DeSales?
The moments with my teammates off of the field. I loved playing football for DeSales. I am proud of our senior team going 10-0 in the regular season. I am proud of our dominating defense that season. However, the memories that stand out to me are the years of lifting every morning year round before school, the bus rides to and from games, laying in the locker room/ weight room in pregame, Saturday morning film sessions on the stage, and walking out hand in hand on Friday nights!

What made playing for DeSales so special?
It was so special to be a small part of such a massive legacy of excellence in football. It still brings me pride to know that I followed the lead of the great Stallions before me and that I had a small part leading the great Stallions after me as a player and coach at DeSales.

What was your best game?
I don’t really recall individual stats from back then, but I will never forget how dominant we were against Watterson my senior year in a 41-6 victory. Also I believe that was my only career receiving touchdown in that game.

What was it like playing for Coach Jacoby?
Playing for Bob Jacoby was one of the most important moments of my entire life. The hard work, fearlessness, faith, and leadership that he taught me and instilled in me then, has driven me to try and pay back as a teacher and coach over the last 22 years. Coach Jacoby’s ability to invest in all aspects of his athletes lives, not just on the field, is one of the qualities that I still try to emulate to this day. That ability to connect with us, helped Coach to raise the bar of expectations and excellence for us and equally convince us that we could reach for it.

Do you still follow DeSales, if yes, how closely?
Yes. We moved to Florida after my last season coaching at DeSales in 2020 and I still follow the team closely through social media.
